On Tuesday, April 11 our Admin Team and Executive Board met at Shannon Road BC in Pine Bluff. Pictures of the meeting posted below.
The members at Shannon Road did a very commendable job of hosting the meeting, providing both breakfast items as well as a spaghetti lunch that was very tasty. The desserts were enjoyed by everyone who stayed for the meal.
Bro Paul Williams, Pastor of FBC White Hall and Moderator of the Association presided, welcoming everyone to the meeting.
Tommy Carter, HBA Treasurer was unable to be present due to back pain and was in the hospital. The report was read by the members and was accepted as printed.
Debra Burchfield gave an update on the acquisition of the hospital property. She challenged the Exec Board to return home, pray for their involvement in the down payment. The Golf Fore Life Tournament is scheduled for April 22. The Baby Bottle Offering will be May 14 through June 18. The bottles were available for pick up. The 2017 Annual Fundraising Banquet will be on November 13, 14, 16.
Harvey Hibner, Inner City Director and Pastor of Sulphur Springs BC gave an update on StoneBridge Ministry. He also showed a video of his work that was shown to groups out of state he has visited with.
Vice Moderator and pastor of Shannon Road BC, Josh Blevins took the gavel about mid-way through the HBA meeting because Moderator Paul Williams had a family in al Little Rock Hospital undergoing major surgery.
Associational Missionary Mike Manning gave his report to the HBA Exec Board.

Pastor Thirland McKissic, Church Suppodrt Leader reported to the HBA and encouraged those present to attend the Cantata and Good Friday Service at Forrest Park BC on Friday, April 14 at 6:30 p.m.
BCM Director Tarvoris Uzoigwe gave the report of the progress of the work to the HBA

Early Arrivals always enjoy sitting around the tables, catching up on the latest in each church and just having good fellowship
Wish we could see everyone of our HBA Executive Board members in the fellowship time before each HBA meeting. Here are just a few of those who arrived in time for the coffee and donuts.
These women of Shannon Road treated everyone to a wonderful coffee and treat time before the meetng and they prepared a delicious Spaghetti and salad lunch. Thank you, ladies. You did a marvelous job and you are so appreciated!
